Are there opportunities for including tuned and untuned instruments in your music curriculum?

Singing is a key feature of all our lessons, but there is equal opportunity to play tuned and untuned instruments.

Composition and improvisation activities are built into to every term so there's plenty of opportunity for exploring instruments! Tuned percussion is feature of the music curriculum and there are some simple percussion parts in some lessons.

The curriculum overviews might be a useful starting point – these show content covered in each lesson and a useful skills progression document for each year group. You will be able to find these on the music curriculum page (whether you are a subscriber or in a free trial) in the green banner near the top of the page.

Please note: We don’t currently have a sequence of lessons for whole-class instrument learning, i.e. dedicated to learning one specific instrument.
